PTFE Graphite Packing is a high-performance sealing material professionally braided using polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and graphite as core components. Certain products may incorporate reinforcing elements such as glass fiber, copper wire, or stainless steel wire according to specific operational requirements, further enhancing structural stability.

In terms of composition characteristics, PTFE provides excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance, enabling it to withstand the erosion of acids, alkalis, salts, organic solvents, and most other chemical media. The graphite component imparts a low friction coefficient, effectively reducing equipment wear and energy consumption during operation while significantly improving high-temperature resistance—capable of long-term use up to 850°C in oxygen-containing environments, with even better performance in oxygen-free conditions. Furthermore, the packing's structure, manufactured through processes like cross-interlocking and spiral braiding, combines high strength with flexibility. It can resist stretching and tearing while conforming tightly to the shapes of sealing surfaces such as shafts and stuffing boxes, adapting to sealing requirements of different sizes and operating conditions.
