Professional Introduction to Oil-Free PTFE Packing**
Oil-free PTFE packing is a high-performance sealing product made from pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or modified PTFE materials. Compared to traditional oil-containing packing, it is completely free of any lubricating oils and greases, relying on the excellent self-lubricating properties of PTFE material itself to achieve sealing. It is particularly suitable for harsh operating environments demanding zero contamination and corrosion resistance.
Core Characteristics
1.  Exceptional Temperature Resistance: Can operate stably long-term within a temperature range of -200°C to +260°C; short-term tolerance up to 300°C.
2.  Outstanding Chemical Stability: Resistant to strong acids, strong alkalis, and various organic solvents (except hydrofluoric acid and molten alkali metals).
3.  Self-Lubricating & Maintenance-Free: Low friction coefficient (0.05-0.10), eliminating the need for additional lubricants.
4.  Environmentally Safe: Compliant with FDA certification requirements, suitable for clean environments in food, pharmaceutical, and similar industries.
Typical Applications
Chemical Industry: Dynamic/static seals for reactors, centrifugal pumps, valves, etc.
Energy & Power: High-temperature seals for steam systems, hot oil pumps.
Food & Pharmaceuticals: Sanitary-grade seals for filling equipment, pharmaceutical machinery.
Specialized Fields: Precision seals for semiconductor equipment, aerospace components.
Technical Advantages
Special weaving processes ensure dense and uniform structure.
Optional reinforcement materials (glass fiber, carbon fiber, etc.) to enhance mechanical strength.
Support for customized sizes (3-100mm cross-section) and special cross-sectional shapes.
Service life of up to 8,000-12,000 hours, significantly reducing maintenance costs.

Development Trends
Nanomaterial Modification: Improves wear resistance and thermal conductivity.
Integrated Smart Monitoring: Embeds sensors for condition monitoring.
Green Manufacturing Processes: Develops environmentally friendly formulas suitable for recycling and reuse.

This product is widely used in industrial fields such as petrochemicals, power & energy, food, and pharmaceuticals. It is an ideal choice to replace traditional oil-containing seals. Selection should be based on specific parameters such as medium, temperature, and pressure. Operational simulation testing is recommended to verify suitability for critical applications.
